Palm Springs hotel location anyone?
 

Would anyone be able to tell me which - if any - of Palm Springs hotels are in / close to the town centre. I would like to be able to walk to shops, bars and restaurants. I see lots of hotels on expedia - but which ones are in the town.

I know that Comfort Suites is, and the Spa Hotel and Casino. Anything with a similar address is nearby.

The Hyatt is right in the middle of town.

Interesting---the Expedia description says Desert Vacation Villas are "within walking distance of downtown.." but I can tell you that Vista Chino and Palm Canyon is a pretty good hoof from downtown. Buyer beware, I guess. Generally, look for stuff along/around the Palm/Indian Canyon corridor between Alejo and Ramon Road and you will be in easy walking distance of the village core.
