Palm Beach to Tampa - Would one day Enterprise rental work?

What would be the best way for 2 people to get from Palm Beach to the Tampa area on a Saturday? It's a pain to get to and from the bus station. I hear that Enterprise will deliver a car to your door-true?

Why don't you try Southwest web site. Tampa is a SW hub and you might be pleasantly surpirsed.

Yes, it's true. However, I don't know if they do one-way rentals. Check this out yourself. Also, Enterprise offices often close by 12 noon on Saturdays and do not reopen until Monday. Not sure if there are rare exceptions.

I do know Thrifty does one-way rentals. That might be another option. Whatever company you go with, be sure to investigate all possible coupons and discounts http://www.carrentalsavers.com/

Until a couple of years ago, all the rental companies in Florida seemed not to do any drop off charges within the state for one way rentals. I used to do a one day rental all the time just to go to the airport. But recently that has changed, most of them charging most of the time and sometimes a lot. I too thought Enterprise doesn't do one-way rentals at all.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Thrifty site was crashing so I saw that Southwest is having a sale for one more day. So I bought tickets for $59 each plus tax, no charge for l bag each and we can cancel if we must because we're seniors. This trip is finally taking shape. Now, if I can just find a decent hotel for under $200 in South Beach... TA shoots down each one I find!

You said South Beach. Did you mean Palm Beach?
How many nights do you need?

Do your homework on Enterprise one ways. Many locations are franchises who do not rent one way.
