Palm Beach - Four Seasons, Ritz, or Breakers?
 

I am surprising my mother with a trip to Palm Beach for Memorial Day weekend. I have a reservation at The Breakers, but looking at the Four Seasons' website, they seem to have some good deals during this period.

Which of these hotels is the best or are they all in the same league?

I'm mainly looking for Spa pampering; great food; and just relaxing by the pool/beach.

I have never stayed at the Breakers because it is much too big for me but I have stayed at the Four Seasons and the Ritz many times.(in-laws live there). I much prefer the Ritz over the Four Seasons. There is just something missing from that particular Four Seasons. I do like the rooms better at the Ritz than the FS but the FS is in the process of redoing their rooms. I really can't put my finger on it but I think that FS is lacking.

I haven't stayed at the Ritz PB, but agree that the Four Seasons Palm Beach is possibly the weakest link in the entire FS chain (in North America).

I love The Breakers. It just feels so elegant.

Stayed recently at The Breakers ... one of the nicest and most elegant hotels I've been at. There are multiple pools and a nice beach ... all very nice.

I've stayed at the Four Seasons & have seen The Ritz as well as The Breakers. Personally, I think The Breakers is too big a property that you're not taken care of as well as the Four Seasons. And also, The Ritz is in the middle of nowhere. It's too close to the "ghetto" part of Palm Beach.

Plus, right now at FS, if you stay a minimum of 3 nts, you can get the 3rd night free, as well as $100 USD credit for every 2 nights.
