palm beach dining

My friend and I (both mid 30s- weekend away from husbands) will be in Palm beach and are looking for restaurant suggestions with great food and fun, chic atmosphere. we're staying at the PGA. Any suggestions?

Taboo on Worth Ave. good people watching. DB Cafe (owned by Daniel Boulud) in the Brazilian Court Hotel for fine dining.

For younger places try West Palm -either Clematis St area or City Place.

Those sound great- thank you!

You're welcome! I also like Renato's (Italian) on Via Mizner-a courtyard just off Worth Ave. for European ambiance, very good food & faboo people watching but have only been there for lunch. This may not be your scene & for just a weekend, I think the other options are better.

Try the Sailfish Marina with two restuarants: The Sailfish and the Buccaneer Steakhouse on Singer Island. It is close to PGA. Every Thursday evening there is a open art market along dock. You can also take a water taxi on the intercostal south, passed Russ Limbaugh's house, to downtown West Palm Beach's Clematis Street District and Peanut Island.. Check this out for details:

Agree with the above posts. Taboo is a must for see and be seen. Right on Worth Avenue.

Sailfish is a blast on Thursday nights! Don't miss if you are in town. Eat outside overlooking the boats and the water.

Redfire Grill is one of my favorites.
