That area can get a huge tourism boost if Shiner runs brewery tours on the weekends.

I was at a Ralph's supermarket here in L.A. yesterday (same as Kroger's in TX), and they stock Shiner Bock.

My dad lived in Shiner for many years. When I would visit him (from los angeles) I would either rent a car in Houston or San Antonio and I would ALWAYS pass through Shulenberg to get to my dad's farm. Usually stop for gas in Shulenberg and then on to Shiner. I can't believe I missed this place. My dad recently passed away, but next time I'm in Texas I will definitely stop, THANK YOU for these great pix.

sarge - yep, ray posted farewell GTG message on airlines board some time back so we had our "last" dim sum. But only for now. We'll do it again!
