We are here in Palm Desert, which is great. I do have a question about return traffic--We drove from Long Beach, so took the following freeways: 22 e, 55 n, 91 e, 215 s, 60 e, 10 e

The whole way, there was a ton of traffic going the other way. Which was great for us, but---if it was that bad on a Sunday, we are wondering what it will be like next Saturday????

It took us a little over 2 hours to drive from LBG to Palm Desert and there was some traffic. But it looked a lot worse going the other way. Do we add on an hour to travel time or was there some special event going on??

And one more question--is it always this windy? As my husband said, they obviously have those wind farms for a reason. Thankfully it is sunny and pleasantly warm. Off to the Living Desert today!
