Hi ...

I am booked into this hotel from the 17th July to the 23rd July (6 nights). This is costing me $129+tax for ocean view room per night. I have a couple of questions.

1. Is this a good hotel ... anyone ever stayed there ??
2. Is this a good rate for a hotel, which is 1 block from the beach & has own swimming pool.
3. Would I be better staying at a CONDO type place ... bear in mind that I want to be near the beach & have a pool (sharing a pool would be fine).

Hi Mark,

The hotel is decent but nothing grand. You will be close to the beach and in between the 3rd St Promenade and Main Street--two shopping/bar/restaurant areas.

The price sounds right to me.

Agree with Alisa--rate sounds good to me. You're in a very high rent area albeit across the street. Closer to the beach are Shutters and Loew's for a lot larger rate. Can you ask for a AAA discount?
