Pacific Grove - Best Streets for Nice Architecture?

Ok, hopefully this is my last question before I take off for California on Friday. I'll be flying into San Jose, making my way to Carmel. Before hitting Carmel, I want to do the 17 mile drive. I wondered if there are some nice streets in Pacific Grove I should check out before entering the 17 mile drive. I love Victorian and other interesting architecture.

Thanks for your help!

I would drive the length of Ocean View Blvd - which, as you can probably infer from the name - runs along the ocean and has nice views. There are some really beautiful homes on that road.

Even better if you have the time and it's a nice day, would be to walk the coastal trail that runs along Ocean View Boulevard. A pleasant stroll with the same great views and beautiful homes, plus the real chance of spotting seal lions and otters on the beach or swimming.

Sea lions, must learn to preview before posting.

Also, Lighthouse Ave through the charming downtown and all the side streets that go between Lighthouse Ave and Ocean View Blvd.
