Pacific Coast from Astoria to Santa Rosa, CA

In July my husband and I are driving down the coast from Astoria, OR to Santa Rosa, CA. We will be staying at B&B's along the way. Any suggestions for restaurants or sights not to miss? We like hiking, history, and good seafood.

You will really enjoy the Oregon coast..especially because you like to hike. Near Astoria be sure to go to Fort Stevens Park and walk the long but great beach hike from the Columbia River mouth to the shipwreck of the Peter Iredale (about 5 miles each way, maybe less). Very few other people walk this way. Astoria has some interesting Victorian houses to walk by. I know tons of other stuff about the Oregon coast having travelled there extensively many many times the past 6 years. Email me if you want more info so I don't waste my time here giving info that may not be wanted.
