Pacific Beach Hotel, Waikiki

Hello everyone
Our travel agent has recommended the Pacific Beach Hotel on Waikiki.
Would appreciate any comments/feedback from anyone who may know this place.
thanks

We are considering staying there next year, so I can't comment on the rooms, but the PBH has a great location across the street from the beach at Kuhio Beach Park part of Waikiki Beach. We stayed at a neighbouring hotel (Waikiki Circle) last time we were in Waikiki and loved the location. I think almost all rooms have at least a partial ocean view. Their Oceanarium restaurant is centered around an aquarium.

I stayed at Pacific Beach Hotel a number of years ago. Was very satisfied with the location and the hotel. Room did have a view of ocean and Diamond Head.

It is a really nice hotel across the street from the beach, but in a location where there are no hotels on the beach side of the street.

Lots to do on Oahu:

Not sure if this will influence your decision, but the Pac Beach will be managed by Outrigger soon.

We stayed at the Pacific Beach hotel 4 years ago--we loved it there. The room was large, very clean and nicely decorated with a balcony with a partial ocean view. We had an inexpensive run of the house(I think that is what it was called)reservation from our travel agent. So when we checked in I asked if we could have an ocean front room--the girl was very nice and upgraded us for no extra charge. The restaurants are nice and we always ate at the cheaper one and the food was very good. The pool is nice and they have a bar right there with the best tasting drinks---very reasonable. Good location--can walk everywhere--when we go again we will surely stay there again. Have a great trip......
