Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee or ????

We are doing a Great Lakes Cruise in July that starts in Milwaukee. We will be taken from the airport to the ship, but will have 3 hours to while away before having access to our room.

I was looking for something to do during that time and wondered if the Pabst Mansion is worthwhile to visit. 10 minutes from ship via Uber or taxi.

Any other suggestions anyone may have? Even a lovely park or lakeside walk may be better than hanging around the ship.

The art museum. Gorgeous building and grounds on the lake front even if you don't go in. https://mam.org/

Pabst is forever connected to Milwaukee, right? The Pabst Mansion is nice, although the rooms downstairs are more impressive than upstairs. I would definitely suggest a guided tour so you can get the history.

You could wander the Historic Third Ward, see the Public Market. Depending on schedules, you could take a walking tour with Historic Milwaukee. Their office is conveniently downtown east of the river. You could jump on The Hop street car, which is free, and just ride the route to see a bit of the lower east side of the city. You could walk along Lake Michigan north of the art museum if the weather is great. Another historic home to tour from one of our early Milwaukee industrialists is the Charles Allis Museum. It's filled with decorative arts. Also probably about 10 minutes by Uber from the ship.

If you're here on July 6, Summerfest will be underway. Grounds open at noon.
