As for non-food aromas, I experienced a new one on a recent flight to Phoenix. The food service was over and I was engrossed in reading a book, when I was suddenly overcome by strange fumes. <BR><BR>Turns out my seatmate was polishing her nails! I guess it's a good use of the time, but it was new to me, and I didn't appreciate the strong fumes in such close quarters.
