Thanks,

We would need to know your definition of "reasonable" and how close to the airport you need to be in minutes

The entire south end of the strip is 15 - 20 minutes to the airport at the most. That would include MGM, Hooters, Tropicana, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, New York New York and Monte Carlo.

If you are looking for a decent newish hotel that does not have a casino, you might try the Doubletree Club on Warm Springs. I believe they have an airport shuttle. They would be about 10 minutes or less away.

There is an Amerisuites that would be about 5 minutes away on Harmon and Paradise. Across the street from the Amerisuites is the Hard Rock Hotel. One of those two would by my choice, as there would be some entertainment nearby.

There are a couple of Best Western-type motels closer than the Amerisuites, but they are very old and I would not stay there, personally.

As for reasonable, well that is subjective.

La Quinta Inn on Paradise Road is quite close to the airport and also walking distance to restaurants. If you find a good rate and they still have free airport shuttle, grab it.

Isn't that La Quinta one of the handful of little motels on Paradise that has changes hands/names several times over the years? They look very 'iffy' to me. Or is it another motel that you are referring to?

Thanks! This gives me some hotel/motel names to check out.
