Outrigger Waikiki?

My husband can get us a fantastic deal (through his work) at the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel. I don't know much about this hotel. Has anybody stayed there or can anybody comment on it? Thanks for your help.

You are right on the beach not a bad hotel, never stayed but always walk by on trips over. You always have to be careful with deals in Waikiki because the cheaper hotels attract prostitutes. The place will look like it is clean, quality, but hello when you get on the elevator with a 17 year old street walker, so sad. In any event more info than you need your hotel will not be one of those. I would be happy to stay at the outrigger treat yourself to one of those ocean front rooms.

It is a nice hotel in a great location. The partial ocean view rooms look right into the next building, so go for ocean front like Sam said. Great bar on the beach, good shopping.

There are more than 1 Outrigger hotels on the strip. I stayed in one and it was very nice, pool, coffee in each room. On walking to the beach, I passes another Outrigger hotel that was larger than mine. They are good hotels right near the beach and within walking distance of shopping. Go for it.

Outrigger has a chain of hotels in Waikiki. They differ in quality and location and have a wide price range. You have to know witch one you are staying at to know if it's a good one.
