Outrigger Hotels in Honolulu

First visit to Hawaii and must stay in Outrigger Reef on the Beach, Waikiki Shore or Waikiki on the Beach. Which would you choose for best location to sights/restaurants/shopping? Any idea what the parking facilities for each is like?
Thanks!

Not sure about the shore, but the other two are beachfront. We stayed at the Reef in 2001 and enjoyed it a lot. Loved the breakfast buffet, nightly Hawaiian music. The Wakiiki on the Beach has Dukes restaurant but a very small pool, it was slighty higher in price but maybe a slightly better stretch of beach? You can't go wrong with either. All are close to shopping/restaurants--it's Waikiki!

I like the location of the Beach one. Reef has nice grounds.

We stayed at the Outrigger on the Beach and really liked it. We had a partial view of the ocean which was really nice. The beach in front of this hotel is some of the best I think, just out the back door & white soft sand. Catamarans and surfing lesson were right outside the hotel. If I remember right they had beachside massages. Dukes was wonderful for seafood, and drinks, nightly music from live band. On the street side of the hotel is many designer shops, directly across the street was a open air market for souviners and such. You can pay for parking at the hotel, but we walked to the car rental agency, don't remember which one, to pick up and return the rental. Hope this helps.

We stayed at Outrigger Reef on the Beach a few years ago and really enjoyed it very much. Good location for walking to the main shopping and restaurant streets. The beach isn't huge, but the pool is very nice.

stayed at the Outrigger on the Beach last New Year's. it's right in the center of everything and because of that we thought it was a lot of fun. we did go to the Reef once because they have a great Spa called Serenity, and it's a nice stroll down the beach between the two properties. we had a car for one day/night and parked it with a valet in the underground garage. as far as shopping goes, the International Marketplace is right across the street. have fun!
