Outlets

Driving from San Francisco to Scottsdale, Az with stops in Monterey/Carmel, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Diego. I love outlet shopping...are there any along the way?

2 come to mind as you near LA. Easy off HWY 101. Pismo Beach at 4th street and a larger outlet center called Camarillo, near Oxnard. There is also the Citadel if you do stay in the LA area off the 5 Fwy in Commerce.

There is a nice outlet mall in Carlsbad, Ca ( just north of SD)

If you are taking Interstate 10 between LA and Scottsdale/Phoenix the obvious choice is the Cabazon outlets. I think it's as good or better than Camarillo, but you can compare store listings on line and decide. Or go to both!

There's an enormous outlet center in Gilroy, CA , at the Leavesley Rd exit on 101.

WHEN are you driving? Cabazon is one of the best, overwhelming actually, but during winter in the wind tunnel you can freeze to death! Camarillo is another top one and the weather is usually always pleasant there.
