Outer Banks Flights

Hello-

I have a large group meeting in the outer banks from Michigan and from columbia, SC. I am wondering if anyone has information on any flight schedules that might accomodate people from these areas. I can find from Michigan it looks like Norfolk is a good point to fly from, but I need help with the most direct route from Columbia, SC.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Drive or fly? Delta and United fly from Columbia into Norfolk.

The Outer Banks are hard to get to on the best of days. USAir, United, and Delta all fly from Columbia to Norfolk. Then its another 2 hour drive to OBX. Any reason the meeting is so remote.

Thanks for the info! We are just meeting various family members in Duck, NC. We hear it is beautiful. Leaving this week, half driving, half flying into ORF.

Norfolk is really 2 hours away? Map quest said only about an hour.

Thanks for the help.

i would plan on 2 hours if you are not driving in for a weekend. There is a lot of traffic during those times because there is only one road to get there. But the drive is so worth it. It is very relaxing and the people are so nice. Have a great time!
