Tom..in Dallas they are every where..not sure on the hot sun :-?

Just recalled another difference, here in NZ national parks, beaches etc are open 24 hours. Nearly all the parks we visited, state parks, beach parks, etc had gates and were closed during the night. In a lot of places here there are no camping rules, but the parks are not shut down.
