Great photos, lindsyb! You really did see a lot of bears!
We saw a grizzly in the distance at YNP with our binoculars, but we were thrilled with that. The size is always amazing to me. Then my dh had to wander off a little to check the taller foliage, ;-) and noticed a huge femur bone with a little bit of flesh left on it - it was still pink, bloody, and fresh. That was a "where's the bear now?" eye opener. LOL What camera did you use? Any additional lenses? I have a digital canon, but want to upgrade. Thanks! |
BayouGal - you have a good memory! Yes, we went last fall and are returning again this fall. It is such a beautiful place to unwind and drink in the gift of beauty and nature.
I like the thinking of your DH. ;) |
Hi BayouGal - thanks for reading. I don't have a big camera. I use the Canon S5 which was the biggest optical zoom that I could find on a "point and shoot" camera. But I really do enjoy taking photos so one of these days may have to upgrade to a "real" camera. :)

Wonderful trip report.
Great descriptions of critters and food (two of my favorite things). Hope I see a bunch of animals when I'm there next month. |
Loved your report, brought back memories of our trip in June a few years ago. Loved the babiesthen, loved your reminding me how adorable they were. Thanks.
