Ouidad salon, NYC
 

I am making my first NYC trip in June and would appreciate if anyone has any good or bad info on the Ouidad salon on 37W. 57th St.

If you go to www.naturallycurly.com you can find more info on Ouidad Salon than you'd ever want to know. Its talked about on their Hair Talk message board and it's listed under salons in NY.

Excellent salon for curly hair, but not cheap. If you have curly and unruly hair, by all means, go! You will feel like you just landed on a planet of your own kind of people. You MUST make your reservation NOW, and allow several hours for the appt.

Oh, and if you are planning to buy product, back some ziplock plastic bags with you to pack them up for your way home. Or, buy just the small sizes and order the bigger stuff from their website and have it shipped to you. It will arrive before you get home.

Thank You! I do have curly hair and have never been to a salon that caters to it! I figured it wasn't cheap, that's why I was wondering if it's worth the hype!
