Other things to do in Orlando?

We are going to Orlando for a week in November. We've been to WDW and Universal Studios several times so now we're looking for something different to do in the area. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I really enjoy Sea World. The Key West area is the best & so is the water ride (Atlantis).

Do you have to go to Orlando? Why not choose a different location in Florida if you want something new? I would also recommend Key West.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon this year. We did the disney stuff. But, there's also a lot of other places to go, such as Wonderworks (pretty neat), Ripley's, trips to Daytona and Cocoa Beach. We did those things. I'n not sure what the address is, but if you search for Orlando on a search engine (such as dogpile) there's a website for the non-disney visit to Orlando which is pretty good. Anywho, good luck! Have a great vacation!

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, we need to go to Orlando. Unfortunately we bought into a time share five years ago. Sounded good at the time, but Disney and Universal get boring. The tour books list so many other places, but it's hard to know which ones are worth the time. Thanks again.

If you feel like taking a drive, consider the Gainesville area. I love the area and it's only about 110 miles from Orlando. Very foresty, with beautiful clear springs (Ginnie, Ichnetuchnnee, etc) near the Alachua-High Springs areas. The little towns are nice, too!

You can go to the library and see the book.

If you do decide to drive to Gainsville, I recommend a stop in Micanopy. It's a very pretty small town that's been the setting for several movies. It's also a good "antiquing" town.

You could always go to the Ramada hotels in the area and take inventory of their hangers.
