OSF Ashland-Help Me Decide
 

....between Twelfth Night and Love's Labor's
Lost-I just get to pick one, I know the
plays and I can't wait to go back to this fun venue. I just cannot decide.

I love Twelfth Night :D I look forward to being able to go to Ashland and see it all myself..

How can we help you decide? Both will certainly be good. We're seeing 7 shows in four days there. Love's Labor's Lost will not be one as the only possible time conflicted with Belle's Stratagem, which I HAVE to see.
I think clearly Twelfth Night is the better play, but how often to you get the chance to see LLL performed? I'd choose that, I think.

Did you get your room booked at the Plaza, Patrick? Where will you be dining? We'll be back in Ashland in a few weeks. Have you ever been to Amuse or Monet? ***kim*** ((l))

Yes, we are all staying at The Plaza. Four of us for the first two nights, then Lee's brother and wife drive up from Tahoe to join us the last two nights. Then when our friends fly home after the last night there, we ride back to Tahoe for a few days!
It's hard to &quot;DINE&quot; when you're seeing plays every night. But I'm sure we'll do at least one or more dinners on the terrace at Beasy's on the Creek, since it's so convenient and we've had great meals there. And probably Chateulain(sp?) one night. And last year we had a great meal at KatWok, which we really enjoyed. Never been to Amuse or Monet. I hate doing dinner at 5:30 or 6:00, but there sure aren't many options for after theatre -- and that's pretty late for the rest of our group anyway.

There were no deluxe king rooms available so had to go with the executive kings which are $175 a night with tax. With over $1400 worth of theatre tickets, $1750 worth of hotel rooms, and god-knows-how-much in meals, etc., we sure do add a lot to the Ashland economy!! We'd like not to splurge too much on meals, especially after just doing Seattle, Vancouver, Whistler, and Portland for a total of 9 more nights!

Patrick, are you seeing Room Service? We've stayed at the Plaza so many times the past few months, I'm looking forward to a stay again at the ASH. I hope to get a King Corner room since the rooms are on the small size, but oh this hotel is so nice, one of my favorites in the Ashland area. ***kim*** ((l))

Friend Susan is disappointed we're not at the Ashland Springs, which she loved this summer. But it was fully booked already for our nights the last of July. We've told her we think she'll be just as happy at the Plaza.

We're considering seeing Room Service when we go in March. This time our DD will be in Mexico, so when it's just the two of us I like the ASH. www.ashlandspringshotel.com for others to enjoy this beautiful hotel. :)

We had an excellent meal at Chateaulin in November. I still think that $32.50 for a three course dinner and two small glasses of wine is a good deal. www.chateaulin.com :)

Wasn't too impressed with Beasey's on the Creek, but it fit the bill for us when we arrived at 9:00 for dinner, they seated and served us. I'm thinking of trying New Sammy's in Talent this time or Amuse. We still have a comp meal offered to us at Cucina Biazzi from our bad experience there last summer, but I don't know if I care to return there with the other options in the area. ((f))

We'll miss the Green Show in March, but when we return for an extended stay in June we'll be able to catch it then. I've always enjoyed that show. ***kim*** ((r)) The only horrid meal we've had in Ashland was at Gepetto's, but four of us walked in at 10:00 for dinner that night. We're about to receive a free stay at the Plaza, when we hit our 10th stay.
