Orlando with Two Young Kids - JW Marriott or Marriott World Center?

We're planning an early- or mid-March trip to Orlando with our two small kids -- ages 4 and 1. We have tons of Marriott points, so we've narrowed it to these two hotels.

Which one should we choose? We're thinking 4 nights, relaxing/playing in the pool at the hotel. Probably no Disney or other theme parks, but maybe if we're feeling restless.

Our goal is to have an EASY trip with the kids. Nice pool, low hassle, everything we need on site, in case we don't want to pile into the car.

Advice?

One more option -- Marriott Grande Vista.

Thanks!

If your 4 year old is a girl, I would at least do The Magic Kingdom for a day. It's the perfect age for all the princess stuff

The JW is a little off the beaten path but is connected to the Ritz-Carlton so you have access to restaurants from both. I would say the pool at JW is better. WC is closer to Disney complex and is bigger than JW. Both would be excellent choices. I have not stayed at either property but have been to conferences at both and I would probably choose the JW over the WC.

I have stayed at both.

The JW is a much more adult destination. Excellent shared spa and pool facilities with the adjoining Ritz. The rooms, restaurant and bars are superior at the JW. Your daughter will not be disappointed with the entertainment value of the pool. JW and World Center both have surrounding golf course.

The World Center is larger. Gets more family groups visiting Disney. The great pool area is designed to make the kids happy and it does.

As gmoney indicates World Center is much closer to any Disney destination if you do a park.

If your mission is to relax around a great pool in the sun for 3.5 days and take your daughter to a partial day at Disney, I would stay at the JW.

Have a great vacation.
