Orlando Trip (Without Disney)
Hi,
I'm going to Orlando next week for work and will see all that Disney and Universal Studios has to offer. On my down time over the weekend, I would like to see some other things that are within one hour's drive, a beach, a special attraction, something fun. Can you help me? Jerseygurl |
Jerseygurl,
You could visit Kennedy Space Center and at the same time see Canaveral National Seashore. If you would like to see a beach totally devoid of man made things and is totally natural you will love it. After CNS you can go to Dixie Crossroads in Titusville for a local delicacy (rock shrimp). |
Ocala National Forest would allow you to hike for hours without seeing another soul -- or, at least, that's what I got when I needed a break from the amusement parks.
