Orlando luxury house rental

I will be traveling to Orlando in early August and I need to find a 3-4 bedroom
accomodation. My family is going down and they are comprised of adult siblings. In the past I have seen luxury house rentals advertised, but have always gone the hotel route. We would all like to be together and thought this would be a cheaper alternative that we could all chip in for. Can anyone recommend a place or company that they have stayed at or used that is reputable. Would like to stay in the Lake Buena Vista area or not too far from there. How the place looks and it's vincinity is very important. Cost is a concern as well. Also if you know of a hotel that can accomodate 3 bedrooms, let me know. I am open to exploring that avenue as well.
Thanks for any help you can give.

You might check www.vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owner) or resortquest.com. I've not rented from either company but am familiar with some of their properties (in St. Simons Island, GA) and the rental prices seem reasonable for the accommodations.

Three bedroom condos (actually timeshares) are available at the Marriott Grande Vistas. Very close to the parks, very nice pools, kitchen etc. It will be hard to rent a luxury home for less than a full month or even a season.

I second the idea to check vrbo.com as I live in Orlando and have spoken to several people who rent out their homes through that site. Several only rent them out while they themselves are away on vacation (NOT in Orlando, of course!), so a one-week rental may be very possible.

I have also been looking at houses when we hope to travel out next February, but there are 10 of us plus two small children, the best web site I found was villadirect.com, they have anything up to 7 bedroom houses, we went with the hotel option in the end, as we found by time we paid for cot hire and plus 12% taxes, it worked out just the same as staying in a hotel, plus you will have a rep to ask information on.
Hope this helps.
