Orlando fine dining suggestions

Husband will be in Orlando for a conference in January. He is looking for dinner suggestions for business entertaining. Prefers upscale. Can be trendy atmosphere and/or food. Cost is not an issue.

His conference had been held in previous years in Miami, and he would take people out to dinner in South Beach. Our only Orlando experience is with our kids at WDW. Thanks for any suggestions.

Thank you Starrsville. You always have such great travel knowledge to share.

It really depends on "where" in Orlando. It is a huge area that is known as Orlando, although most is not truly Orlando. Disney isn't even in Orlando but Lake Bueana Vista. Location?

Why, thank you padams! I've just entertained business clients a lot in Orlando. That's my favorite and the reviews (on this board and elsewhere) have held up.

There's a Columbia's in Celebration that we used a lot too. I'm not a big fan of the Ruth's Chris options, but you always have those. Mama Della's at the Portofino hotel was a favorite of company folks (not clients). Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific Resort was a big fav of certain customers (athough I admit I never went there - I'd go the simpler route to the Thai restaurant that I understand is no longer there).

But, based on what you asked for in your OP, Seasons 52 will not disappoint and the food will be divine.

Another suggestion, Normans at the Ritz-Carlton or Primo at the JW Marriott (connected hotels), both excellent restaurants and would be extremely condusive to business meetings. I like Seasons 52 also, but it can be loud (and lively, big bar scene), all depends on the business entertaining you are doing.

Ditto to what thurstonbb said; where in Orlando?

Norman's would be a trek if in downtown Orlando or north of Orlando. Lots of fabulous placs up this way!

I like Moonfish, been there a couple of times and always request the table facing the kitchen/grill.
