Orlando during Thanksgiving -- crowded?
Would it be crazy during Thanksgiving time in Orlando / Disney? How's the weather gonna be like?

Erica..yes, Disney is crowded (the resorts are generally sold out) at Thanksgiving time, but much less than Christmas time or the summer. The weather is usually mild, sometimes in the 80's, sometimes cooler. Right now we are having weather in the 80's and not too humid...in other words, perfect Disney weather! (I live 1 1/2 hours from Disney and go there frequently). As far as the rest of Orlando is concerned I cant comment since we usually just go to Disney when in Orlando!

We went to Disney last year during Thanksgiving week. The beginning of the week was not too crowded. The day after Thanksgiving and the weekend was pretty busy. Even so, we didn't have any trouble getting into the attractions we wanted to see. It is a much better time to go than Christmas. The weather was mild but not quite warm enough for me to go swimming. But just right for walking around. At night we needed sweat shirts. Have fun.

PS We decided to go at the last minute and couldn't get a room at a reasonable price. We used our Entertainment Card and was able to get a room at the Dolphin for half price. It's a great location, right behind Epcot.

We spent Thanksgiving week at Disney 2 years ago. There were virtually no lines at all. We left the day after Thanksgiving - I was told that the crowds come then and the weekend is crazy. We've also been to Disney in January, August, and October but that week in November seemed the least crowded.

Many thanks to Debbie, Mryna and Liz for the helpful info! So looks like it's gonna be a bit crowded for us since we'll get there right on Thanksgiving day and stay for 2 nights...
