Orlando Dining Help

we are a group of 9 adults travelling to orlando for business, but staying saturday night to celebrate a couple of special occasions. WE are looking for a good dinner restaurant...excellent food, lots of ambiance...price isnt necessarily a consideration (although not completely outrageous...less than 50 an entree). Most I see recommended are Disney restaurants, which we are not necessarily opposed to, but all seem to be already booked. We are willing to travel within Orlando, especially for a good meal!!! Please help:)

Seasons 52 http://www.seasons52.com/ fully meets all of your criteria. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! It is one of our favorite restaurants and we have lived here 22 years. If you think you might want to go, my only suggestion is to make your reservation ASAP.

You also may want to look into Emeril's restaurants at the Universal resorts. There is Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific Resort and Emeril's at City Walk.

you may also want to check out some of the nicer hotels also the peabody hotel has a steak house that is great food and nice ambiance. Also the grand cypress has a couple of choices that serve a nice dinner and the grounds are beautiful.I also agree with Orlando_Vic seasons 52 is a nice choice also.

I like Seasons 52 as well. You don't mention where you are staying, but we also really enjoy the Columbia Restaurant in Celebration, FL, just outside Orlando. You also might check out the restaurants in Winter Park, FL, just north of Orlando. Both these locations would allow a little strolling after dinner.

I agree with Seasons 52 too. It sounds just what you describe you are looking for.
The Columbia restaurant at Celebration is good too.
Another idea would be Bonefish.
For "fun" dinners during business weeks we enjoyed Cafe Tu Tu Tango, but that would be a suggestion for during the week - not the special occasion night.

Depends on where you are staying. "Orlando" is a very big area! Antonios - www.antoniosonline.com - is fabulous with 3 locations.

We just celebrated my husband birthday at Luma on Park. It's on Park Ave in Winter Park. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Wonderful atmosphere (albeit a bit on the noisier side) and food and service were impeccable. They have a great wine list (they serve by the half glass, glass and bottle) and a reserve wine list. Winter Park is an easy commute from Orlando.

Seasons 52 is one of my favorites also, but Luma blows them out of the water.
