Can anyone provide an oppinion on any of the following properties? <BR>Clarion suites at Lake Buena Vista <BR> <BR>Westgate Lakes <BR> <BR>Star Island Resort and Club <BR> <BR>Isle of Bali suites <BR>I have been offered acomodation at discount prices and wonder if anyone has any advice on this, my first trip to Florida.I am 30 and am going for a hassle free fortnight with my girlfriend. <BR>Thanks,Mike

Mike, Westgate Lakes and Star Island Resort and Isle of Bali all have timeshare units and the first two get very high ratings from people who have stayed there. Star Island is very new and the suites are very, very nice. It is right off of rte. 192. Star Island has studio, 1, 2 & 3 bedroom units. The studio units are not bad for 2 people, but there isn't much of a kitchen if you are planning on cooking. We stayed in one a couple of years ago. Hope this helps. JoAnn

I hope JoAnn returns to answer your specific questions. <BR>My comment is that it sounds like a very good value based on the general conversion of: <BR> <BR>BP175 x $1.50 = US$262.50 divided by 6 nights = US$43.75. <BR> <BR>That seems to me to be a very good deal. However, you will likely have to pay a tax on that amount. Still, a nights lodging for under $50 with a small kitchenette appears to be a very good value. <BR> <BR>Where in all of the UK can you find a private room with private bath (excluding B&Bs) for 33 pounds? <BR> <BR>

Mike, here are 2 websites: www.star-island.com and www.westgateresorts.com They should give you more information on both. Couldn't find a direct Isle of Bali website. We never stayed--or even toured Westgate, so don't know what it looks like. Star Island is large and quite new. It is on Rte. 192, which I understand is a mess due to construction.
