Orlando

What would you do??

Discovery Cove - swim with the dolphins/SeaWorld OR the Disney Parks??

We have a short trip coming up to Orlando and are torn on what to do! Our kids are 10, 8 and 6 (boy, girl, boy). The oldest LOVES dolphins. Our daughter is very into princesses. The youngest loves animals, rides, cartoon characters - pretty much everything!

Suggestions??

Short trip being how much time? 1 day, 2 days, etc?

Disney is all princess all the time right now. Without knowing how many days, can't say if you can do both or have to pick one of the other. With limited time at Disney, do the Magic Kingdom. Ideal for your age group.

Be sure that you understand pricing on the swim with the dolphin adder to the Sea World trip. For five people, I believe it is a high ticket day.

We will probably be there about 4 or 5 days. We've heard with Discovery Cove you get a 7 day pass to Sea World.

There is no need for a 7 day pass to Sea World - you can se everything there in one day. And besides the ethical issues involved with "swimming with dolphins" and the effect it has on the animals - I'm not at all sure it;s a safe activity for young children. (Before you do this have a look at the disclaimer you will have to sign before they let you swim - essentially they are not responsible for anything that might happen.)

With 3 kids those ages I would focus on Disney - esp Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom and the regular Sea World activities. Feeding the animals should be enough - and is safe for kids.
