Orlando
Are there any hotels in Orlando that will allow you to bring your dog?
|
I was told by the desk people at the Portofino Hotel (Lowes) that they welcome pets. The hotel is on the Universal property and is regarded as among the finest in the city.
|
All the hotels at Universal Orlando allow dogs....they even have doggie biscuits in the mini bar! Dogs are allowed in the rooms. Don't know if there is a size limit, but I have only seen small dogs.
I'm sure there are more but I know for sure of those 3(Portofino, Royal Pacific, Hard Rock). I have seen a kennel at Disneyworld, but I do not know if they allow dogs in the rooms. |
The Days Inn Maingate allows pets, with a $10 extra charge. It's actually a decent hotel that also has shuttle services to the Disney parks, you should look into it.

Hello twm1,
Check out these websites: http://www.pets-allowed-hotels.com/us/Florida/ORLANDO/ http://hotels.about.com/od/orlandopets/ They should give you some examples of which hotels in Orlando or in Kissimmee that are pet friendly! Jerilyn |
All LaQuintas allow dogs.

We stayed at the Marriot in Kissimee with our GREAT DANE and had no problems. Everyone was accomodating, Disney has air conditioned kennels while you're at the park.

After having gone thru 3 hurricane evacuations from the east Florida beach to Orlando with our pets, let me recommend petswelcome.com. That site has been very helpful in listing info about Orlando area hotels that accept pets. All three times, we've stayed at LaQuintas by the airport and and International Drive (I-Drive) and had no problems.
