organized bicycle tours--which one?

We did Bike Florida this year and had a great time. It was very organized with food cooked on site and your gear transported from town to town, and had camping each night. This year's Bike Florida itinerary is an area we've already been to, so I was wondering what other state bicycle tours would be good. They would need to be within 1-day driving distance from Florida, so probably Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, N. and S. Carolina, and maybe Tennessee. Anyone ever been on the bike tours in these states? Any feedback would be great. Thanks!

Check the website www.bikeleague.org for links to various rides & bicycle organizations. I think NC used to have a multiday ride, not sure about the others you list.

Thanks for the link. We're definitely looking for a multi-day trip, 4-7 days.

Jon, have posted a trip report anywhere?

I did Bike FLorida in 2000 & 2001. Report at http://sff.net/people/sfreader/bikefl01a.htm

Hi Keith,

No, I didn't post a trip report. I actually never thought of it. We had a blast though. I read yours and it sounds like the previous years were just as fun.
