sundolph--Sunriver fits what you are looking for to a "T". There are loads of rental homes of all sizes as well as condos and the lodges. We have been renting homes there for years and do big family trips with grandparents, siblings and their families as well as going there for girls trips, just our little family etc. There are several pools there, and there are over 30 miles of paved paths for walking and biking. The paths are great as at the intersections (roundabouts) there are directions painted on the pavement as well as posted signs showing where you are. There is so much to do there that I can't possibly list it all, but be assured that it is ideal for families.
