Orange Beach, AL vs. Perdido Key
 

I'm thinking of spending a week at the beach in July and usually stay in Orange Beach. I've noticed some good prices for condo rentals in Perdido Key and want to hear from people who have stayed in that area. Is it rather isolated from grocery stores, retaurants, shopping, etc. or is the drive not that long? I know it's between Pensacola and the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area but I just want to have a better idea of what kind of drive-times I'm looking at. Any comments would be appreciated! Thanks!

Not much difference in Perdido Key and Orange Beach, maybe four or five miles. Plenty of restaurants and a new WalMart Supercenter on the Florida side.
