Opinons on following NYC hotels..
 

Will be traveling w/ a 5 year old. Out of the following hotels which would you consider staying at
Hotel Elysee
Hotel Giraffe
Casablanca Hotel

Do a search for the property names and check tripadvisor.com for feedback on all these hotels.

Hotel Giraffe is brand new, so there may not be any reviews on it yet. However, the location is great, and from what I've seen from the brochure, it looks fairly posh.

3 very different locations-Elysee east 54th, Casablanca west 43rd & Giraffe 26th and Park. The Giraffe has gotten RAVE reviews on tripadvisor.com

(didn't check the others). I think it depends on what you want to do. The Casablanca in the theater district is a more touristy area than the other 2. It will be easy to find child friendly restaurants there as well as easy access to tourist venues.

The Elysee is in an upscale business/shopping area although there are delis etc. nearby (Hamburger Heaven on Madison & 54th is very good) It's an easy walk to Bloomingdales (and nearby Dylan's Candy store & Serendipity for hot fudge sundaes!).

But the Giraffe sounds great. Check reviews of the other 2 on tripadvisor.

Casablanca is wonderful. I don't know if they'll guarantee you 2 beds though.
