Opening of new Chihuly Glass Museum
 

The Chihuly website gives a Spring 2012 date of the opening...anyone have any current info...is it open, delayed?

Late May is what I've heard as the tentative opening date for the Chihuly Glass and Self Aggrandizement Exhibit at Seattle Center.

Good question. When I walked through Seattle Center recently, the museum appeared to be near completion but there has been nothing on TV or in our local newspaper about its opening (and I can find nothing about the opening on the internet). Have you thought of giving Dale a call? His number is 206 781-8707.

The Monorail is a convenient way to get to Chihuly Garden and Glass from downtown Seattle. Just hop on at Westlake Station and you’ll be dropped off at the exhibition in a few minutes. Valet Parking is also available at the base of the Space Needle.
