Ontario, California Hotel
OK fodorites

What are the best hotels in Ontario, California. Have transportation. Would like convenience, nice area, perhaps quiet. under $200.00.

Going on a bussiness trip. Do not know where meeting is yet. Any answers?

I stayed at the Sheraton Ontario near the airport. Very nice, enjoyable place. Cheapest you will find in the area hotel wise is $45 a night.

Marriott Ontario Airport, Doubletree Ontario Airport & Sheraton Ontario Airport Hotel are all hotels located near the airport. The Ontario Hilton is also near the airport and is the most convenient if your meeting is in the Centrelake Center or along Inland Empire Blvd. There are also a number of chain restaurants near the Hilton.

If you've never had an In N Out burger, be sure to try one while you're in the area - there are two locations in Ontario.

I am not sure I want to stay near a noisy airport. I am driving into town. Any nice locations away from the airport.

All of the nicer hotels are located by the airport. Ontario really isn't a charming town that you'd walk around in. Sightseer gave some good choices for Ontario.

As Jim says - Ontario is not a "destination" and there are few POSH hotels. thes best are the airport chain places already mentioned. If you want a great hotel and are willing to be about 25+ miles away you could check out the Mission Inn in Riverside. It is a lovely historic resort.

But in Ontario - the airport hotels are the best.

"L" may be a pain in the ass. Complains that he/she doesn't want to stay at a noisy airport hotel and yet on another post, "L" discourages another poster from staying in Avila Beach since it's quiet and removed.
