One way air fares to Kona
 

We are moving to Kona in Aug and want to know what airlines have one way fares. Any help would be appreciated.

Moving from where? For a one way ticket,AmericanTransAir is going to be your best bet,at the moment.If its LAX or SFO then its about $400 to Maui,then appx $80 Maui to Kona.Hawaii fares at the moment are high.In many cases, if you want just a one-way,it is more advantageous to purchase a round trip and throw the return away.However,at the present time that is not the case for Hawaii fares.

Aloha has nonstops from Oakland for around $380 one way, less 10% if you have a AAA card. The first class fares BTW are pretty affordable one way (with AAA discount) and the service in Aloha's FC is about the best we've ever had. Makes a big difference on a 6 hour flight from the mainland.

It may be cheaper to buy a roundtrip ticket and only use half of it.
