One night in Vegas
 

I will be in Vegas for one night next month due to flights (I am on Allegiant and cannot return the same day on my connection). What I am looking for a room that is on the strip for under $80. Pipe dream? Any ideas? Advice?

It depends on what night. Sun-Thu rooms are usually cheap if there isn't a big convention in town.

Weekend of weekday?

If on weekend, check out Sahara, budget, close to downtown, but still on the strip and safe.

If a weekday, check out Tropicana, Excalibur, Imperial Palace, Riviera.

it will actually be on Memorial night in may

Prices should drop for the Monday night of a holiday weekend. A quick check on travelzoo shows the Monte Carlo at $69 that night. Check out all of the specials at:

Also consider off strip casinos like Orleans.

Finally downtown hotels often have affordable rooms.

Bally's often has good rates and it's in a good location.
