You'd have time to drive up Haleakala, which is world-class amazing. Then go to Lahaina a bit earlier than the luau to poke around town. It's a fun place.

If you have extra time in Lahaina, there's a pretty interesting self-guided historic walking tour you can get a map and do in the downtown area.

We are ziplining in Hilo, biking down a volcano in Maui, ocean kayaking in Kuiai, and taking an historical tour of Kona.
