One-bedroom Unit in Cannon Beach
We like Schooner's Cove but it has become so popular we find it is hard to book there when we want.
Do you know of a place that has one-bedroom units in the $150-$175 range that has a small kitchen (or refrigerator and coffee maker) and a private outdoor sitting area. It need not have an ocean view.

Never stayed there, but Land's End Motel might work for you: http://www.landsendmotel.com/index.html. Or maybe Blue Gull Inn? I think you'll have trouble replacing Schooner's Cove; it's probably the best deal/value in town.

The McBee Cottages are a kick in the pants. They are small - some have kitchenettes - very close to the beach - and are dog friendly (and a good deal for the area). I am not sure if they do have a private sitting area - it's been a while since we've stayed there - but we have great memories
