on line travel agencies
We went to Hawaii thru a local travel agent 3 years ago for a price $2,000 less than I am being quoted today. Does anyone have any suggestions of on line travel agencies with reasonable prices?

Aloha Buzzy...

I have surfed lots of travel message boards...and I keep reading horror stories of people haveing problems with
the packages they booked "on line"
such as getting documents last minute,
and haveing them be wrong..to hotel and
car reservations being messed up.
As a travel agent myself I must admit
I am not crazy about all the on line
travel services out there..lets face it
they are trying to put me out of a job.
But I have always told people...you
are spending alot of your hard earned
money on a vacation...would'nt you like
to have a face to put with that money..
someone you can see or call if something goes wrong..you do not get that "on Line"
You would not pick a doctor or lawyer
or any other professional "on line"
would you? A good travel agent is a professional and you should shop around
and find one that will work with you
to find you just what you want in a price range you can afford.
Just some food for thought...

Have a Maui wonderful day...

Mahalo,
[email protected]

we went with tropical escapes - http://www.tropical-escapes.com/ and couldn't have been happier. They beat all other prices by at least $300 (including AA vacations and Pleasant Hawaiian)

As for Carol Horne.

There is a website that sells great Tour deals. They also offer hotel rooms at great prices. Their URL is:
http://www.cheapestdeals.com

No matter how you book, it's best to shop like the dickens and do your homework...Even with travel agents and booking sites, it's best if you know which details to double check yourself.
