On-line reservations for San Francisco
Just wanted to try to get some info on an on-line reservation site. Has anyone used San Francisco Reservations? It's at www.hotelres.com Is this site reliable? This site seemed to have the best deals on the hotel I've been looking at. Or if anyone has any suggestions on any other reliable on-line reservation sites I would appreicate that as well. Thanks!

I have gotten the best deals on Priceline. Check www.biddingfortravel.com. It will give you an idea of what hotels you can get and at what prices.
|
You might want to go to the hotel directly. Some of the smaller chains will match prices found on the reservation sites.
Otherwise I agree with enjoylife. Biddingfortravel also provides bidding strategy guidelines |
I hit the post button too soon. There's also a site, Destination Partners, that has good hotel rates.

Hi mdv9802:
Yes! I have used hotel res for many, many reservations over the years. You can get some great deals. They are very friendly and you can call if you are uncomfortable with the website. Also the "operators" have suggestions on the hotel properties and can steer you to one that fits your style! JOHN |
When I first started looking for hotels in the SF area, I went to hotels.com. The least expensive place to stay was Holiday Inn Express north of Sausalito. About $95.00 per night.
Ended up with Priceline.com, Union Square Hilton, for $65.00 + tax/fees. Ended up being $75.00 per night. |
