On a scale of 1 to 10

1 meaning "you'd rather sleep on the street" and 10 "there's nothing better" how would you rate Hilton hotels overall?

Hiltons are typically ranked as being in the middle of the middle tier of hotel chains.
For example, the upper tier includes Four Seasons, Ritz carlton, Peninsula (in the USA).

Middle tier (toward the top) includes Fairmont, Westin Loews and Hyatt.
Then comes Marriott, Sheraton, Hilton, etc.

Each chain has its stars and disappointments, of course.
But these are the results you'll see from ratings of travellers in various books/magazines.
