Olympic Nat'l Park in May
 

Planning a 'girls trip' in mid-May and Olympic is an option. Have been to Seattle but not out to the peninsula. Looking at 6 days; flying into Seattle and renting a car. Would like to establish two home bases to enjoy the park and the whole area. What do Fodorites recommend and what is 'not to be missed.' We enjoy exploring natural areas, whale watching if its the right season, cultural attractions of small towns and crafts. Thanks in advance!
