Old Towne Restaurant

Has anyone eaten at the Old Towne restaurant in downtown Charleston, SC before? Or has anyone heard any reviews about it? Thanks!

Can I tag along on your message...were going to Charlestong this week and I'm looking for a good restaurant. I have not heard of Old Towne in the research I've been doing. The ones I've heard a lot of have been peninsula & charlestons. Wondering if there would be a preference or any others. Thanks.

Olde Towne is a greek restaurant on King Street. Good family greek food. Good for lunch. Casual.

Old Towne is one step up fron a diner--the food is OK, as mentioned, casual (friendly) but not outstanding. You'll find it "family friendly" clean, and not expensive.

I don't think this restaurant will ever be a subject of "reviews" because it's nothing special. Not that it's bad, because I've eaten there a lot, but it's along the caliber of an Applebee's. Very family friendly and honestly, a little dirty (the bathroom is awful). If you're looking for a good restaurant in Charleston, there are about 300 better.
