Old Key West v Beach Club - Disney
my husband and I are traveling to disney with our toddler (almost 2 years old) the first weekend in October. We have been to Disney several times, but having issues booking this time around. I need some input, please!
Can't decide - what is more important? Having a separate bdrm? Staying at Beach club with fab pool area? What would you do/suggest? We are contemplating a 1 bdrm suite at Old Key West or a Standard room at the Beach Club (total cost difference about $150). We will be going to the parks 2 of the days (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom with possible stop-offs at Epcot for food, etc) and plan to spend the other 2 days on the resort or downtown Disney/boardwalk. Any input would be great. Thanks! :) |
My preference was always the separate sleeping area. That way my kids could nap, sleep in, and go to bed early while we could follow our own schedules. A two year old won't fully enjoy a fab pool. My kids were just as happy with a hose and a bucket.

thanks for the reply. we had to change the weekend, so we are staying at the Yacht Club. I decided since we are going for such a short period of time (and will be without a car) that location was the top priority. :)

I think you made a good choice. I was going to recommend you stay in the EPCOT resort area, as the location is nearly perfect.
Have fun! |
thanks! We are paying a high price for our room even with the AAA discount. Thanks to this forum, I have been visiting a discussion board that releases discount rate codes...so, hoping we can get a further discount on our room. :) It will be a pricey trip, but fun!
