Old Faithful Inn East Vs West Wing differences
I'm wondering what difference there is between the east and west wings at Old Faithful Inn. Reviewing the pricing, it seems that a East Wing 2 Queen Standard Room (facing the parking lot) is priced HIGHER than a West Wing 2 Queen Premium Room (Obstructed view, but facing the geyser basin). I've been searching online for a comparison, and so far all I've come up with is that the West Wing involves stairs, versus an elevator in the East Wing. Is there something else I'm missing? Thanks in advance for replies.

I don't know the answer, but in the past have found the very best and most detailed information regarding rooms can be obtained by calling reservations. The really know their stuff.

I don't know either. I've stayed in the geyser view rooms and took a tour of the historic rooms. One possibility is that one wing was built at a different time and the rooms are not as nice as the others. I agree that calling reservations to ask is a good idea. You also may want to check TripAdvisor to see if there are actual traveler photos of the rooms.
