Old City Hall subway station NYC

I have seen amazing pictures of the Old City Hall subway station in NYC and can't find out IF its open or not - I know the subway doesn't run on it but can you tour it or see it to get pics??

I don't know the answer to your question from personal experience but I found a couple of things that might help you in the right direction.

THE JEWEL IN THE CROWN: OLD CITY HALL STATION *Members Only*

"New York subway riders taking the 6 train can come upon a secret subway station when they stay on the train after the Brooklyn Bridge stop. As the 6 train turns around to go back uptown, the train passes through a historic and beautifully preserved City Hall subway station, giving subway riders a peak at the past"

Maybe someone here can tell you if staying on the 6 train is still an option.

The station is not open to the public except on rare special occasions, and these opportunities are highly prized and spots on tours difficult to secure (often only available to MTA Museum members).

Whether or not you can stay on the 6 train as it turns around depends on the conductor and the day. I haven't heard anything lately on whether they are or are not throwing people off.
