O'Hare Hotels?

We're trying to decide between the Ramada ($79), the Days Inn ($92), or Doubletree Suites ($96). We will be staying for one night as we have to be at O'Hare at 5:00 a.m. Is the Doubletree worth the $20 more than the Ramada? Which is closest to O'Hare? I don't think we'll be needing a whole lot of hotel amenities unless the more expensive hotel is worth it. Any thoughts about the three will be very much appreciated. Or, you may know of better ones. Thank you.

If you have to be there so early, I would suggest staying at the hotel that is IN the airport. All of the other hotels are a few minutes away by shuttle or cab and sometimes it can be not easy to get a cab that early in the am, since you will have to be at the airport before most of the shuttles from the hotels start.

I think the hotel in the airport is a Hilton, so you might call. The rates there will vary on occupancy of the hotel and if you have discounts. You can get a room as low as $109 depending on the day, so ask. The Hilton number is (800) 445-8667. The hotel is attached to the airport, so you won't need any transportation to your airline.

Hope this helps some.

tweedy

Tweedy: Thanks for the info. With a group of 20, $109 may be too much $ for some. The three hotels I mentioned have 24-hour shuttle service to O'Hare.

Mary with a group of 20 you have buying power. Call the group desk at the Hilton and you should get a really reduced price for the rooms. Hotels love groups and staying there would really be easier for all.

Good luck.

the doubletree is soooo much better than the Ramada. I think thats the better choice.

Stay at the Hilton! You'll be glad you did at 4 a.m.
Just did it.

Try the Marriott Suites O'Hare. It's ten minutes from the airport and has a free shuttle. Cost: about $90.00.

Cathy

FYI: You need 10 rooms to get the group discount rate at the O'Hare Hilton. This won't help me but I thought I would share this information in case it was of interest to anyone else.
